SoundDay: A companion for everyday memories
An idea on a walk. Plans discussed with family. An evening reflection for your future self. Some moments deserve a place you can return to.
Capture first, revisit later
Start and stop recording on iPhone or a paired Apple Watch and mark important moments. Sync Watch recordings to iPhone, listen through a session or jump to a marker. Ask for consent before recording others.
Try a small evening ritual: record one thing that worked today and one question to return to tomorrow. A short voice note is enough; the point is to keep a useful clue, not to document every minute.
More than storing sound
After signing in, select a recording and separately confirm cloud processing. SoundDay transcribes, distinguishes speakers and organizes topics, key points, conclusions and suggested actions. Return to the source audio to verify important information; AI can make mistakes.
For a family trip discussion, separate the chosen destination from ideas that were only suggested. Check dates and commitments against the recording before treating an AI action item as an agreement. The summary is a starting point, not a substitute for what people actually said.
A second brain, built through reflection
Browse recordings by date, weekly duration chart or calendar. These views reflect recordings stored on this device. We are working toward a life companion that understands you better over time. Cross-record long-term memory, automatic habit learning and proactive personalized advice remain an iteration vision, not a claim of available features.
Download and subscription
Requires iOS 17.0+; Apple Watch requires watchOS 10.0+ and a paired iPhone. Availability and pricing follow the App Store purchase confirmation.
- System interruptions or audio-route changes can stop recording. You need to actively restart; continuous 24-hour recording or 24-hour battery life is not promised.
- Watch sync depends on connectivity and system scheduling, not instant delivery or real-time transcription.
- Choose a recording and separately confirm cloud processing after signing in. Signing in alone does not upload audio.
- Eligible new Apple subscribers can start a 7-day free trial with 300 minutes total for the entire trial. The subscription automatically renews at the displayed monthly price; cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Each paid Apple billing period includes 1,000 minutes with no rollover. Deleting the app or account does not cancel the subscription. Insufficient allowance blocks new over-limit jobs; no extra minutes are purchased automatically. Accepted jobs consume the allowance even if they fail; retrying the same job does not charge it twice, and deletion does not restore it.
- Local recording and playback do not require sign-in. Local recording, Watch sync, playback and export do not require a subscription; expiry does not remove existing results. With your per-session consent, audio is sent to the business service and Alibaba Cloud in mainland China; transcripts are used to generate notes.
Signing in does not automatically upload your recordings. Obtain informed consent before recording others and follow the rules of your setting. AI output supports your judgment, rather than replacing it.
